The session was multi-focused including doing awareness and sensitize the attendees on the IPR subject, importance of IPR and how a person may take the idea to market and so with monopoly restricting others not to do such commercialization without prior permission of the right-holders . The resource person of the session was Pankaj Kumar, Innovation Ambassador, Trainer, Facilitator and IPR Coordinator at IIS Deemed to be University. Present session help the attendees to understand better the concept of IPR, importance of it and how a person may be beneficiary if registered their IP including inventions, brand or tradename or marks, aesthetic design of their article of manufacturing and other product of their creation. Further, it motivates the attendees for the IPR and respecting other IPR. Further, common mistakes made by the applicant and differentiation of one IPR from other were highlighted.
