Talk underlined the opportunities Youth/ Start-ups will have in Post COVID world. Dr Anand Deshpande highlighted the opportunities that will be available to Indians in the field of Global Supply Chain as there is change in perception of World with regards to China. Opportunities will also be available in Software industry where almost 100% of operations could be carried out by work from home model very effectively. He also threw light on survival of small businesses and youth start-ups as the customer inflow is almost zero and importance of attracting customers in innovative manner. Post COVID India has also shown a path for education going online. It has made students wiser as now they can think beyond educational institutes for satisfying their search of knowledge. From the educational institutes’ point of view, it has opened opportunities for institutes to think about global courses and not just limit themselves to local resources. In this process courses may get shorter and simulation models may come up. Collaborative platforms can also be created at international levels for PhD students and thrust should be on research.
