Objective of the Workshop/Seminar/Activity: Select the best startup proposal and motivate the people at large to start their own business

Overall Report of the activity: Federation of Rajasthan Trade & Industry and Arya Group of Colleges organized 2nd round of Startup Competition on 25th and 26th April, 2022 in Agarwal PG College. A total of 300 applications were received in the first round. The applicants were from all over India and of a very diverse industry and age group. Out of the 300 proposals received in first round, 76 qualified for the second round and were evaluated by the jury members. Dr. Aditi R Khandelwal, Senior Assistant Professor, IIS (deemed to be University) was one of the jury members who evaluated the proposals of businesses put forward by the candidates. She was also felicitated for her contribution to the competition.

Outcome: Such competitions help in recognising and rewarding exceptional startups and ecosystem facilitators. These startups contribute to economic dynamism by stimulating innovation and introducing competition.
