Objective of the Workshop/Seminar/Activity:
To give an insight on the self- employment opportunities for youth by providing information about the various dimensions including vocational trainings, financial schemes for assistant, establishment of a business venture and effective project report.

Overall Report of the activity:
The IISU Incubation Center, IIS (deemed to be University), Jaipur. in Association with MSME -DI, Government of India organized a one - day online session on “Self- Employment Opportunities for Educated Youth” on 07th October, 2020. The session was moderated by Dr. Anju Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of Financial Studies, IIS (Deemed to be University), Jaipur. The session aimed to give an insight on the self- employment opportunities for youth by providing information about the various dimensions including vocational trainings, financial schemes for assistant, establishment of a business venture and effective project report. The speakers of the day were Mr. Vikas Gupta - Deputy Director, MSME DI, Jaipur, Prof K S Sharma Advisor, IIS deemed to be University, Jaipur, Mr. K C Meena Assistant Director MSME DI, Jaipur and Mr. Madhukar Sharma, Assistant Director MSME DI, Jaipur. While Mr. Vikas Gupta addressed the audience on the topic “Financial Schemes for Youth to start self- venture”, the second speaker of the day, Prof K S Sharma talked about “Vocational Education & Self Employment.” Mr. K. C. Meena talked about a very important topic i.e. “Start- up for Self venture” where he talked about the role of MSME for promoting entrepreneurship. The last speaker of the day Mr. Madhukar Sharma explained “How to prepare project report” and shared various formats and formality requirements for preparation of a project report.
All the sessions were very informative and rendered a lot of practical knowledge to the audience. Various Audience Poll questions were raised in between and audience actively participated in them as well. An interactive question and answer round was also conducted between the audience and the speakers. At the end of the session, D. Ritu Jain, Head, Associate professor, Department of Physics proposed a formal vote of thanks.

Outcome:
At the end of the session, the audience gained a lot of knowledge about the importance of MSME in development of Entrepreneurship, different vocational courses available in this regard, the different financial schemes provided by the government for self- ventures and preparation of project report. All the sessions were very informative and motivational for the audience.
