Overall Report of the activity: As part of the Vigyan Sarvatra Pujyate, Science week Celebration from 22-28 February 2022, IIC and the Department of Physics organized a Visit to Innovation Hub at IIS, Kshipra Path, Mansarovar on 26.02.2022 at 11:00 am.
Prof. Y. K. Vijay, Director, CIST-IISU, briefed about the establishment of Innovation Hub and demonstrated a number of experiments. Prof Vijay demonstrated and explained the significance of Foucault pendulum and Mechanical transmission Line to the students which were installed outside the Innovation Hub.
Prof. Vijay also demonstrated the Vortex Formation, Reduction of Friction, Plasma Application, Rotation Dynamics, An-harmonic Oscillator, and Generation of electric charge, Transfer of the Electrical Energy, Generation & travel of the sound waves using a number of apparatus.
Outcome: At the Innovation Hub, students had the opportunity to learn much about the scientific equipment through their interaction with the demonstrations.
