IIC organised a webinar on the topic of Sensitization on Patent Registration. The session was based on the Intellectual Property Right and more particularly on the patent registration. Mr. Pankaj Kumar was the key note speaker of the session. He is a renowned name in the field of IPR. He covered adequate information related to topic, including the meaning and definition, subject matters of patent, criteria, requirement, process, forms and fees, prior-art, drafting specification, related govt schemes etc. He had done his Master in biotechnology, Information Science as well as in Law. He is a registered Patent and design agent, trademark Attorney, trainer and an advocate. Presently he is working as an ‘Assistant Professor’ at IIS deemed to be University, Jaipur, Rajasthan. Around 300 applications for various IPR filed by him and many of them got registered and rest under process. At the end of the session faculty members. At as well as students asked their questions, which is patiently heard and answered by the learned guest.
