Entrepreneurship Awareness Program for Career Opportunities
"Sambhav" National Level Awareness Program- 2021 was organised by MSME Development Institute, Jaipur for the students of IIS (deemed to be University), Jaipur on 22nd November 2021 for Aazadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. One of the main objectives was to promote engagement of the youth in promoting entrepreneurship, boost domestic manufacturing with a view to push economic growth. Sambhav is a mass outreach programme under the Ministry of MSME in which students from different colleges/ITIs from all parts of the country will be encouraged by 130 field offices of the Ministry to take up entrepreneurship. Sh. Navneet Agarwal, World Trade Centre welcomed the guests and moderated the session. Mr. V K sharma , Director, MSME- DI ,Jaipur, Rajasthan gave the welcome address. He motivated the students to take up entrepreneurship with the zeal to become successful in the future, dealing with all the obstacles with wisdom. He highlighted the importance of creating a value chain for business to gain competitive advantage and for the success of the business. He informed the students about the various programs of Government of Rajasthan related to incentives like Stand -up India, Capital Subsidy scheme etc. He also informed the students about how the technology driven business are promoted by the Government of Rajasthan through MSME in mentoring, promotion and capital support. Ms. Anila Choraria, Asst. Director, MSME-DI, Jaipur described the MSME classification of the Micro, medium and small enterprise. She elaborated on the process of Udhyam registration. She focused on the role of government for skill enhancement through ESDP Scheme, Tool Rooms and Technical Institutions, mentoring support scheme for promotion of innovation, Rural industries and entrepreneurship (ASPIRE) and E-marketplace.
Sh. R.S Choyal, Managing Director, Shri Vishvakarma Industries Pvt. Ltd. Ajmer enlightened on Entrepreneurship and Industry 4.0. He highlighted on the entrepreneurship and job opportunities in various sectors especially agro industry and the role of technology to drive the business towards success. He laid the importance of having precise knowledge of the area of entrepreneurship and how one can amalgamate creativity and imagination with wisdom and rationality to be successful in business. He also highlighted the relevance of Intellectual Property Rights in the present day time in business scenario. Shilpi. R. Purohit, General Manager, District Industries Center,Urban Jaipur threw light on the PMEGP & MLUPY scheme and activities of District Industrial Center. Sh. P.M. Bunkar, Lead District Manager, UCO Bank, Jaipur layed importance on the banking Finance for young entrepreneurs and discussed the possibilities of banking finance for startups and businesses. Mr. Rupesh Kumar Pandey,Team Leader, SPMU PMFME Scheme Rajasthan Agriculture Marketing Board, Jaipur discussed various PMFME scheme of Ministry of food processing specifically focusing the possibilities in the food sector for entrepreneurs. NExy session was taken by Sh. Sumit Jain, DGM MSME Technology Center, Bhiwadi highlighted the role of MSME Technology Centers in Promotion and Development of innovation & industries.During the session, students were made aware of the various schemes being implemented by the Ministry of MSME through Audio/Video film presentations. Dr. Roopam Kothari, Associate Professor, Coordinator, Incubation Centre and MBA- IEV facilitated the question and answer session and gave formal vote of thanks.
Outcome/ benefits for the Learners:
students were made aware of the various schemes being implemented by the Ministry of MSME. This was a good way to obtain information from the representatives of the Ministry. Many issues were answered regarding the planning, investment, marketing, technology on the start-up journey and the possible applicability of these schemes and programmes were discussed.
