The IIC network included 1,056 institutions, with over 88,000 faculty members and 13,000 experts. The program aimed to enhance India’s innovation ecosystem, with IIC institutions growing from 5,000 to 14,000. Faculty members were encouraged to continuously upskill, with participation linked to their institution’s star rating. The video also emphasized the importance of integrating Tinkering Labs and Innovation Councils to support Innovation Ambassadors in schools and drive the innovation agenda nationwide.
